New Bacognize® clinical trial awarded “Best Research Paper” at international conference
| |||
The award was given for technical quality, novelty, and importance to the scientific field, and published in the peer-reviewed International Journal of Collaborative Research on Internal Medicine and Public Health. Bacopa monnieri, in the proprietary extract form of Bacognize®, has been shown to support memory, focus and mood in clinical trials in the form of Bacognize®. ”These results, especially when taken together with previous human trials on Bacognize®, adds to our level of understanding of how the Bacopa glycosides from this extract may work for people of different ages, and with different levels of cognitive health,” said Blake Ebersole, Technical Director at Verdure. “Bacognize® is one of the few Bacopa extracts available standardized by HPLC to the serotonin-active Bacopa glycosides. This is important because it allows for lower effective doses and ensures the quality and activity of the end product,” said Ebersole. Verdure's BACOGNIZE® Extract is made in a dedicated botanicals-only facility that meets or exceeds a number of Quality standards including USDA Organic, ISO 9000:2001, Kosher, HACCP, and cGMP. About Verdure Sciences™ Verdure Sciences offers innovative bionutritionals through the integration of agricultural networks, manufacturing control, and university-based, cutting-edge research. With an expanding pipeline of proprietary, standardized botanical ingredients supported by pharmacokinetic, pharmacodynamic, and clinical research profiles, we work toward our unified vision to offer access to safe, effective health solutions.
